migemo-el software package provides Japanese incremental search with Romaji on Emacsen, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install migemo-el
migemo-el is installed in your system.
Make ensure the migemo-el package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep migemo-el *
You will get with migemo-el package name, version, architecture and description in a table
